Rules: In a text post, list ten books that have stayed with you in some way. Don’t take but a few minutes, and don’t think too hard — they don’t have to be the “right” or “great” works, just the ones that have touched you. Tag ten friends, including me, so I’ll see your list. Make sure you let your friends know you’ve tagged them.

On va voir -

1. Kensuke’s Kingdom - Michael Morpurgo

2. Harry Potter series - J.K. Rowling

3. The Perks of Being a Wallflower - Stephen Chbosky

4. Adrian Mole: From Minor To Major - Sue Townsend

5. Memoirs of a Geisha - Arthur Golden

6. The Color Purple - Alice Walker

7. The Yellow Wallpaper - Charlotte Perkins Gilman

8. A Genius in the Family - Piers and Hillary Du Pre

9. The Inheritance Cycle - Christopher Paolini

10. The Iron Man - Ted Hughes

When I was just starting high school, a girl who rode my bus invited me to stay the night at her house and when I did she got really emotional and told me no girls ever stayed over because she was a lesbian and if you don’t think that’s the saddest thing ever you need to re-evaluate your life
